Boss Battles

Anyone else think Boss Battles on Intense is IMPOSSIBLE! I could barely beat it on normal. Hard I had to do in co-op, and Very Hard and Intense I can't even touch...

So has anyone done this? Cause I've seen no records. :x

And yea I usually use Fox. He seems to kill them the fastest with his gun, and the jumping front A kicks...

i realized fox is visious.
when i got wolf, i used boss battle mode a simple Fair double jump Dair hurts them almost half way but lucario can do about 6 or 7 Dsmashes to a boss such as duon or masterhand.
btw.. do u know howto get events 29-40

Happens to the best of us... Ha, I still have yet to get past 6 bosses on intense with any character...

i beat on very hard with fox

Fox is incredible when it comes to Boss Battles. His side Air smash does a decent amount of damage, and his gun can do continous damage from far away.

And like I said with Fox, he's easy to beat if you use Fox and follow this combo:

Blue Half: Stay far from Duon and use the Blaster
Pink Half: Stay close and use close combat attacks

And if he comes up to you for an attack, try to stay in the air, unless he jumps. In that case, just run to the other side fast. And also obivously, if the Pink Half uses it's pink blaster, stay close to it and reflect it. It does trementous damage. And the missles can hurt Duon also, just dodge them as soon as they're about to hit you.

i have the same strategy as you with duon but i wait until he jumps then go off the edge where he will land and attack from behind always worksuntil he/she does the spin attack so make sure your gonna kill them in 10 seconds if you go back here

I like that idea. But when I always vs a boss, I always have a fear of falling off the stage. And with stages that have hooks that make it impossible to come back up (Final Destination -_-) I get Scared.

that is why at the end of matches (last stock) i will never take that chance on final destination to edgeguard.

I heard from a friend Kirby is always good at the edge. And usually if someone's on their last life I would like use the A button. Continus damage and then smash them up with Smash Attack/Hammer/Stone combo

You just go shield side step, shield side step, shield side step. But do it quick though and it could help if you say 1 2 3

try going off the edge or hang off or just stand near the edge and try to air dodge it or block when something comes near you. I think that there is a range for the distance that he shoots it but stay far away as possible and do a lot of blocking and dodging.

Whenever I see them I usually take a heart. I try to save my hearts for Porky, Duon, and Tabuu(of course)

Agreed. I rather fight one of those 2 in the very beginning cause they are really easy once you first start out and you take almost no damage. I usually recover after 3 or 4 boss fights no matter who I face cause just one mistake or tripping could cost you the match. Just like Petey Piranha, I didn't think that I needed to heal cause he is so easy but I tripped and he sat on me. I laughed so hard and got pissed off at the same time but it was alright in the end cause I beaten it on intense already and I'm never gonna do it again.

Some of the bosses are like really easy, like Pety Pirhana and Meta Ridley. If you're fox, dodging Meta Ridley's projectiles are easy, considering his reflector. And when he attacks the ship just jump.

captain falcon is surprisingly easy to do it with, he was my first to defeat it and all you do is his knee of justice to everyone and it does considerable damage, dodgeing is easy cuz he jumps quick and high, also if you run from an attack he's fast enough to go back without them starting a new attack.

i hate fighting one of those too early as well. One time i got to tabuu on intense but i had a good 108 damage. Whose the best character to use anyway???

I never tried Boss Battles with C Falcon. But in battle if I had to pick one I would pick Captain Falcon

I thought Pit worked pretty well for boss battles. He can stay up in the error forever to avoid lots of annoying attacks, can reflect several of the projectiles, has several good aerials (which I believe is the best method for going about most bosses), and has arrows so you can stand back and shoot bosses at times when you don't want to get too close.

well yea i guess so fox, or falco cuz they have lazers but yea most bosses are all aerial moves so i liked link cuz his Dair but it was hard to run back and forth.
