Hero decided to join our clan fairly soon after arriving it would seem :)
Hero claims inexperience due to recently purchasing the game; however, it seems to me that our clan specializes in such cases :). The difference in just my playing style since coming to this site and training with each of you has increased daily, as I know it has for many of you. Let us train with our new members!

We should map out a training list of who is committed to train with whom. Everyone can make suggestions, but it will be up to the ones involved to actually make a decision. We can change these around at any time of course. I think it would be a great idea also for each member of a duo to exchange known schedules just so that each knows when the other definitely will NOT be on for sure. I also suggest that those who live in proximity not be partners since they will play together probably enough anyways. Just a suggestion...

I will make a post about this maybe? If there's enough interest in this, of course.

Sounds good to me, are we going for players of equal skill like sparring partners, or very different skill difference as a mentor/trainee.

I was thinking something probably closer to equals since the mentor in the other situation would also need someone to practice with. However, if two equals continually sparred but did not get any better, what would the point be? however, if the two equals shared in completely different playing styles, they could benefit one another better.

In other words, it's a balancing act. I suggest looking for a partner that is relatively equal, but who has something in their style different from you that you could benefit from.

ok, got an idea. equal skill partners, but they should have a completely different main, like i main toon link and someone else mains ike, its the perfect opposite but the perfect match

what if we also assigned mentors to trainees? Like the more experienced brawlers to the lesser experienced? Knight to squire sort of thing in conjunction with training partners?
