BTW I am probably going to just do away with the Paladin/Dark Knight distinctions... However, I would like to establish some sort of groupings because I am afraid that we may eventually (not the NEAR future) have to divide up like the Fatal clan

now the personal guard sounds like it is a method of ranking, and perhaps, but I think that it is going to be our members in the top 15 or who have been in the top 15 but then that sort of goes against the round table maybe? I just think that really it would be the top 15 members who will be like our tournament representatives or something? Well I can't add this feature without a vote, so we will have to vote on it alright?

Well, as most of you should be aware of when you log in, a good bit of stuff is gone. (Read SK's announcement if you don't know yet)

Anywho, I'm guessing we lost some members. I was afraid for a minute, I didn't know I'd already been registered for a week. A lot of my posts may be gone, but screw that. I'm happy to still be here.

So, since I'm the latest member now since I had just joined, I'm guessing we lost a couple. Also, a couple of the threads are gone. My memory sucks so if anyone would be kind to refresh it? I remember the Tourney thread... not much about it, though.

I ended up doing the sig by myself, mostly out of boredom and not having a signature. If anyone wants me to do one for them, I wouldn't mind doing it, just don't expect anything great from it as I'm not that good.

Guys, SK has just announced the possibility of a Clan from gamefaqs joining this site. The clan is called the Smash Online Kings.... 80+ members!

We must train hard in order to take on their top members in clan wars. Out of 80 brawlers, they are sure to have some special players. Let us prepare for this possibility! The site may start to grow geometrically soon as SK is trying to make it where every clan can have its own space on this site... as in KnightsoftheRound.smashbc.com....

When this happens, we will need to be ready for those clans

Not to mention that we have another new clan joining in that Cobra has brought, as well as another contender called the Dusk something or another.

This is long, but please read the whole thing to determine whether I am a crackpot or actually on to something here :P

I have spoken already to DL and Hitsu and perhaps others about this, and I can see no reason to not post this here. I only ask of you to please keep this strictly within KotR for the time being (until we can make some sort of a decision as a group).

I noticed when I checked the posts this morning that something was wrong with the individual rankings. Sylvantes made a challenge against me. I knew that I had already challenged 80P, so I thank Phoe for pointing that out as well. Sylvantes has no concern with keeping up to date, no concern for rules, and no concert for any etiquette at all. This bothers me, but it does not bother me as much as what was really wrong here. He was one spot below me. Now, just the night before I had declared that smash101 had not responded to me, and this moved me to his spot. And yet only what.. hours later... Sylvantes had gotten ahead of smash101 as well. Not only that, but he was ahead of Keveinmay.

I am completely unaware of Sylvantes ever making any challenges at all, and I have kept a pretty close eye on what he does because I do not trust him. It is impossible that he got the the position on the rankings that he is at now by following the rules. I had to wait 2 days for a reply from both smash101 and keve. The reason is that keve actually accepted one of my challenges before... and I have seen him and played him on wifi in the past week. Sylv did not wait 2 days or anything. Even IF he had and the post was deleted... there is no way that he could have passed smash101 legally because I had just passed him, and while that challenge was out, he could not make that challenge.

However, plain as day, there Sylvantes is, and he could not have edited himself there to my knowledge. I recall (DL recalls as well) a conversation between Sylvantes and Splaya in which Sylvantes' cousin had told him that he wasn't playing anymore and Sylv wanted to just take his cousins spot. However, I (as well as others) immediately protested against this. Perhaps it was butting in, but I had also seen the happening with Cobra, Splaya, and Okami... Splaya allowed Cobra to do something that is not allowed on this site. I wanted to make sure that Splaya realized that Sylv's selfish request was not appropriate. And Splaya acted accordingly. Now, I could very well be wrong... but there are 2 people who really edit the Individual Rankings... they are DL and Splaya. I know DL did not change Sylv's rank, which leads me to believe that it was Splaya. Even though he is the originator of the rules, he still must abide by the rules in place, and he should force people to do so as well.

Here is my suggestion. I believe that the Individual Rankings should be started fresh or at the very least, moved. The rules need to be clearer. The list needs to be guarded and treated as something more official than it is now. It needs to be a locked topic list with another thread for discussion and one for OFFICIALLY declaring and accepting challenges. Posts that do not belong should be moved to a better location so that there will be no confusion. There should be backups and people constantly being suspicious of the thread and track changes when things look off as they did today. I know that something fishy happened with Sylv... and I think that some people respect the list more than that... to allow something to mess it up. I have gone through the list in order to clean out the inactives as quickly as possible... but perhaps it is just time for a reboot. Or, we could contact all those AWOLs and give them a week... if they do not respond... we remove them from the list, bump people up to fill their spot... and then give people an opportunity to fill the blanks at the bottom.

I want everyone's opinion on this... give me info... feedback... this is a round table, right? We are all the decision-makers as well as the counsel... This is my concern; is it also yours?

Correct my errors, make a new draft... do what you must in order that we can come up with a good plan about this.

Is this something we should bring up to SK? He puts a lot into his site, and doing this (in whatever final form it might take) could cause grievances in the site. However, not doing something may also (as I know I am kinda bitter about it atm XD)! Should this be brought up elsewhere? Should we discuss this together and then make a global poll? Should we drop this whole discussion after this initial post? Is the rankings list even important enough for all of this?

I cropped an image I found of them, merged it with a picture of cherry blossoms (making it transparent), manipulating the colors to make them all purple, then selecting (somewhat randomly) certain areas and greying them out. Darkened and raised the contrast as well

This will be the first game released in the series and will be 2d, whereas most of the rest will be 3d. Whats in the folder is simply a demo that I am working on to get some basics down XD

Well, this board sucks atm... SK will be getting our old board back online sometime soon lol. In the meatime... I recommend that everyone who is new or has not already done so.....

You can request an invite there, but it could take months... if you send me your email, it will be automatic. Once you get the invite, follow the directions and download their software. It is pretty important that everyone who can do it actually does because this is a primary aspect of KOTR now. If you are unable, that's too bad cause you will mist out on some features of this clan, but it will be ok lol :).

Also, if you are a new member, you need to be thinking of a title. Here are some exaples that we have at the moment:

Okashii the Revolution
Hitsu the Sword
Okami the Flame
Zman the Shadow
Phoenix the Shield

basically its your name (or a shortened version of it) + 'the SOMETHING'
