This is a list of the top 5 members of the clan. It is like the top 15 ranking system. This is only top 5 players according to the rules specified. This does not mean that these people are actually better members of our clan. Everyone here is equal with different abilities. I have filled the spots out with names. I will post the rules for this as soon as I get them organized. This will NOT have the same rules as the top 15.

well when is this going to start up?

These matches will be 3/5, neutral stages, no items unless agreed upon otherwise. For each fight in the 3/5, each player must select a different character each match. Squirtle counts as charizard and ivysaur; Zelda counts as shiek ;zero suit does not count as samus. Each position will give a certain number of Clan Points per week (TBA), so this is a great spot to collect on points. This officially opens challenges. However, until July 1st, no Clan Points will be rewarded.

At the moment you get clan points for:

1. Being on the following ladders gets you 5 clan point per week as long as you were active on the site in the week:
A. individual rank ladder (10 points for top 3)
B. 2v2 rankings (wont give points until after list is filled up) same as previous ladder

2. Personal Guard (3 points per week)

3. Mentoring or training with a fellow clan member (1 point per session - the session must last at least 10 minutes)

4. Playing members in the clan. Every member you fight and defeat within the week will earn you 1 clan point. These matches cannot be included in ranked matches, tournaments, training, mentoring, or in the league. You can get a maximum of 5 points per member per day. 15 points max per day any amount of members.

5. Participating in a tournament is an automatic 15 points. Getting 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gets you 25 points.

6. Every dollar donation to SK when donations begin will be worth 3 clan points.

5. Writing and editing for the newsletter which will start up for the clan will be worth 15 points per 'article'.

7. Making a banner/sig as a gift for a clan member is worth 5 points, max of 3 in a week. They have to agree... you can't just make it and had it over. Any abuse of this will cause it to dissolve. So if I slapped some art down 3x a week for Hitsu and got him to approve, that won't cut it.

8. A person can bet on the match proceedings with other clan members should they choose to participate in the bet. I will have a betting thread for this. make a post with how much you wish to bet (15 points max per match) and anyone interested in the bet must reply. Betting must be done in THAT thread. I will know if a message has been edited after the fact as well, so if there is a complaint about that, DL and I can check. Betting can only be done in official BC matches such as in tournaments, individual and 2v2 challenges, league matches. You can also bet on any in clan tournaments we may have. You may NOT bet on matches involving mentorship, clan challenges for clan points, training matches, etc. If the stakes are raised, a member has no obligation to comply and may withdraw from the bet.

9. You may give away a maximum of 15 clan points per member per week.

10. Every week that you are active will also gain you a point. If you are inactive without notification, you will lose five.

11. Participating in Clan Wars will get you 10 points.

12. Joining DropBox will get you 10 points.

I hope this stays active.

Use this thread to place bets.

When you post an amount to bet, you must wait for someone else to agree to bet. if no one agrees before the match, then the bet is off, and you get nothing. The money is an exchange between members. If someone raises the amount of the bet, the others may call the bet off and withdraw if the one who raised does not lower it again. If you lose a bet, then your money is split between the winners of the bet.

You can challenge anywhere on the ladder, but if the one who holds the spot loses, he will be knocked down one spot, and the bottom will be thrown off

2 days to rechallenge for all spots

If they do not answer in 2 days, then they will lose their spot. If they answer and do not play in one week, they will lose their spot. You may retract your challenge at any time

My suggestion, Phoe, would be to remain with the 5 point bet, because i don't think anyone will take you on with 15 points. If no one takes you on, you have nothing to gain. I will reexplain the betting system at the beginning of this thread.

Check with Zachlovesbacon if you would like to write for or edit the newsletter that he and I will be working on.

I personally need help from multiple people with saving txt backups of certain threads. This is important in case of incidents like the last time BC got deleted ><. This is also important for other reasons that I cannot think of at the moment. I will back up the member list, updates, and Clan Points System thread as it is changed. However, the more people to back these up, the better, and I would like to have each thread backed up. You could simply go page by page hitting ctrl + A if you wish... This would also include a lot of garbage, but it would still be complete, and that is what matters most.

Yes, and aengl, be sure to check the announcements in the KOTR board as they are our major sections for updates and everything going on with the clan. I think youll find a lot of interesting stuff XD

I think there is some confusion there so let me clarify:

Before you start playing for points, you should let each other know if you want to play competitively or practice. Practice gives points for time, competitive gives points for wins.

These will be scrapped for the time being. I have not heard from bacon in a while, so I am sure the Newsletter is dead. The points system did not work out because I personally couldnt handle keeping up with it on my own, but there were also a lot of things to happen with the site as well. Sorry about the things I could have done to keep it up. From now on, things that need done will require a proposal and two people to agree to it. Start a new thread and make sure that you make it obvious that you are proposing something. If the thread gains 3 dissents, the proposal must be put on hold until two more people agree with the proposal. This includes the membership roster!
