Doubles Christmas Tournament [Archive]

Share your loses and victories is the true Christmas spirit in this tournament. The rules are:

3 stock,
neutral stages,
no character restrictions,
anything move is allowed (Metaknight spam FTW! lol)
team attack on
NO items

Tournament starts on the 30th at 2:00pm central time Canadian.

Get your doubles partner and work times zones and such out. (I suck with time zones so just use Google or whatever lol)

And if not Jimmy wants to, I'll just ask Hjortan or someone xD, but Im getting someone to play at the same wii, so there won't be to much of the stupid "other-side-of-the-world-lag" :P

Btw, Central Canadian time is the same as Central American time right? That is, GMT-6 hours? Right?

Say, Can I partner with someone who is not on this site? My best friend Clan (One of the Nintendo Hub/VGDISTRICT'S Graphic Designers) is a good brawler and we have played doubles before. So yeah, it would be cool....unless you all live in, like, Swaziland and have tons of lag. I can't TELL you how many pathetic, spamming n00bs have beaten me 100% due to lag!!!

I don't see how spam can affect a match with team attack on, but yeah, you can partner with someone not on the site. It would be nice if you could at least try to bring him here though.

Hello people! Just wanted to say that I´m really looking forward to this tournament=) Wavve and I are planning some serious smashing the following couple of days so we'll be in top shape and ready to meteorsmash everyone of you;D Merry Chirstmas!!

Good to hear it. I really hope we get some more people to join this tournament. I want at least 10 teams. We may have to move it up to the 29th or something like that. I have 11 days left for vacation so we may have to just do it with 5 teams. Anyways best of luck to all and Merry F*cking Christmas. (For some reason I'm swearing a lot now lol)

lol guess what. We all have to wait longer lol. I have to move it up to the 30th because my brother made plans to finish some computer science projects with some friends and I have to be involved with it and if we do go a head then two teams won't be able to participate meaning not many teams involved.

lol that's ok. You didn't miss much. Me and Splaya won the tourney and it was really short due to lack of number of teams. It was like about 20 minutes lol. It was an ok tourney though. The next one is a singles tourney on the 17th.
