Nintendo Kingdom is hosting a team Call of Duty: World at War tournament beginning on Monday, January 5. Each team must consist of at least 4 players and will play 1 match per day for as long as they are still in the tournament. It will be single elimination. The length of the tournament will depend on the number of teams. All matches will be played at 8:00 eastern time unless the two teams can agree on a different time (it MUST be on the same day though).
The rules will be pretty straightforward. Each round will be a best 2 of 3 matchup, with each match being the first to 1000 points. All rules and settings should be standard EXCEPT streaks will be off. I don't want this being a race to abuse dogs.
I know who hosts can be a problem at times so this is how I will try to make it as fair as possible. The top team on the bracket will host match 1 while the bottom team will choose the map. The bottom team will then host match 2 while the top team chooses the map. If match 3 is needed then the team with the most total points will get to choose whether they want to choose the map or host. This means it is important to remember the team scores!!
I assume there will be several clans wanting to enter this, and that is fine, but I will say this is NOT specifically a clan tournament. That also means that each clan can enter as many teams as they want, they just need to make sure they have enough players for each day (teams cannot be reorganized throughout the tournament). I strongly recommend that each team has more than 4 players in case someone is unable to make the tournament on a given day.
Players can be added to any teams roster during the middle of the tournament as long as they have not been on another team's roster.
