What is your favorite game?

Obviously if you are here you are a Smash Bros. Fan, but what other games do you enjoy playing? Share with us your favorite games.

Mine personally right now would have to be Metroid Prime 3. I think my favorite game of all time though would have to be Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I love all of the Mario, Metroid, and Zelda games. They are all classics.

Metroid is the shit! I absolutely love that game! All of them. It is a great mix of FPS and adventure. Those other Nintendo franchises aren't bad either.

Besides SSB,I'm a fan of sports games. Especially Madden. I also really like Super Paper Mario and NBA Street 2. I got a lot of sports games but i like the occasional RPG of course. I play the original SMB and SMB3 on my Virtual Console all the time,love those platformers

Yeah I'm a fan of RPG's, I especially like the elder scrolls series, even though it's not on the wii.

I used to absolutely love madden, until this last Wii version. It was really a POS. It has been getting worse ever since they became a football monopoly. I can't wait until that contract is up and they receive competition again.

Madden agreed to a contract a few years ago with the NFL stating that EA was the only company allowed to feature current NFL players in their games.

So when it stops, other companies will be allowed to try and take over?

Yeah, once the 5 years are up (can't remember what year they signed it...I'm thinking 3 years ago?) the other companies can make NFL games again, such as NFL 2k9 or whatever. That is unless they are allowed to renew their contract, which I pray they won't be able to. EA does not take the Wii seriously (which will be a big mistake with as many gamers as the Wii has), and since they are the only company that can make an NFL game they just throw out some half baked crap knowing that anyone who likes football games will buy it, since it is their only choice.

Lol Yeah I've never been a big fan of EA games, and I can tell they don't take the wii seriously. Hopefully a decent company will be able to continue making the games after EA has stopped.

EA is a great game company whenever they put their good teams on a game and actually spend time on it, so what I hope happens is more companies spend time on the Wii and make some great games and cutting into EA's sales, forcing EA to step it up.

Oh no doubt EA can make good games, I've just never been a big fan of all their sports games.

EA does make good games, but the wii is lacking technologically compared to other systems. the games they make for 360 and PS3 wouldn't look nearly as good with the wii. they have graphical standards to uphold.

hmm. i would have to say, besides Smash bros. my favourite franchises would be Fire Emblem, Megaman and Metroid. im particularally fond of the FPS Metroid games and the Battle Network MegaMan games. Fire Emblem games are good all around, in my opinion.

i loved the stratergy of Battle Network 5, and playing as ProtoMan was just badass.

The Soulcross system was cool, but i really did like the Stealth Style change from Battle Network 3.

I would have to say the my favorite game of all time would have to be the Zelda series. The Zelda series is clearly the best series out there. I also enjoy RPGs such as Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, and Tales of Symphonia. I think that I played through Tales of Symphonia 3 times now. Such a great game.

Recently my cousin borrowed me his PS3 with MGS4 and i beat it, and let me tell you man that game is damn awesomeness itself... the graphics, the gameplay, the story, the cutscenes, the music... its just perfect.

I don't really have too much of a favorite. But if I had to choose, it would be Sonic Adventure DX, the music was awesome, I liked playing as all the characters (except Big x( damn that frog!), and Gamma was in it! Long live E-102 Gamma!
