Slingshotting

I absolutely hate how bad slingshotting is in Mario Kart Wii. It seems like almost every time someone falls to last place they get a bullet and are taken right back up into contention. I really don't mind any of the items, but I hate how you can only get something good if you are in the back. I wish the leader had the same chance of getting a lighting bolt than the players in the back. It is just ridiculous at times. It is really about my only complaint with the game.

i agree, today i was playing my gf and noticed the exact same thing.(she's quite the challnge)for me i should say, i mean ive only had the game for about a day lol

the item distrobution between humans is completely fine and will break the game if it is changed. computers cheat with items thats all.

When I'm in the back I rarely get a good item. I guess its just my bad luck.
